Hovhannes John Mardirossian Visits CIPR: Advancing Armenia’s Aerospace Future
This summer, Hovhannes John Mardirossian, President Emeritus, Lifetime member, Chairman Technology and Education, Armenian Engineers and Scientists Association, NorthEastern Branch, USA visited Center for Innovation, Promotion and Research (CIPR) in Engineering City. During his visit, CIPR provided a detailed update on its ongoing programs, including the CubeSat Satellite Program, the PocketQube Program and, “SPACE 1.0” CanSat Schools Program. Our team had the opportunity to discuss CIPR’s initiative with Mr. Mardirossian.
CIPR has become a hub for innovation in Armenia’s aerospace industry, consistently contributing to the advancement of small satellite technologies and cultivating the skills of future engineers and innovators. CIPR’s latest product, “SPACE 1.0”, is a comprehensive training package designed for STEM education. This program equips schools’ students with practical knowledge and hands-on skills in space engineering, bridging the gap between classroom education and real-world aerospace applications.
Through initiatives like “SPACE 1.0” and its pioneering CanSat Program for local schools, CIPR continues to strengthen Armenia’s role in global aerospace development, fostering collaboration, education, and innovation.
