Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia Endorses CIPR’s “Տիեզերք 1.0” Space Simulation Education Program
Yerevan, Armenia — The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia has officially confirmed that CIPR’s developed “Տիեզերք 1.0” (Space 1.0) Space Simulation Education Program has successfully passed its professional evaluation for both public schools and colleges across the Republic. This endorsement authorizes the program as Ministry-guaranteed educational material, now piloted for use nationwide in space education.
CIPR extends its gratitude to the Ministry for recognizing the program’s value and its transformative potential for Armenia’s students.
According to the Ministry, the “Տիեզերք 1.0” program can initially be implemented as part of extracurricular initiatives such as school clubs or project-based learning. This framework will enable schools and colleges to design and carry out space simulation projects, supported by CIPR’s teacher training program to ensure effective delivery.
Looking ahead, the Ministry has proposed submitting the program for inclusion in the formal academic curriculum, contingent on the results and demonstrated impact during the first year of implementation. Schools may also expand the program independently, using their own resources to broaden access. For CIPR, this milestone means that every student in Armenia can gain structured, hands-on experience in space systems education—laying the foundation for the next generation of space engineering leaders.
