CIPR Welcomes Young Visitors on EC Children’s Day
As part of the Engineering City’s EC Children’s Day initiative, the Center for Innovation Promotion and Research (CIPR) welcomed young visitors for an exciting and educational experience exhibiting its “Space 1.0” educational program.
The kids had the opportunity to see and hold a small satellite, learn about its subsystems, see how a parachute is made, learn about what a ground station is, and why for a satellite in space there must be a ground station on the Earth to facilitate communication between the space object and the ground station. Through interactive discussions, they had the opportunity to ask questions, share their curiosity, and gain insight into the world of science and engineering.
During the visit, children have visited the Science and Technology Museum, learned about the rich history of Armenia’s space exploration programs, satellites, and aerospace technologies.
At CIPR, we were delighted to be part of this inspiring event and to help spark interest in space technology and innovation among the next generation.
