Development of Space Education within the “Space 1.0” Program
Within the framework of the “Space 1.0” educational program, CIPR and UCOM continue to develop the aerospace STEM curriculum in Armenia. The CIPR team is expanding its activities by strengthening cooperation with schools across different regions of Armenia and introducing fundamental knowledge in space science and engineering.
Recent visits included Dilijan High School (SNCO) and Stepanavan V. Tekeyan Secondary School No. 6 (SNCO), where students were introduced to the basics of satellite systems, space technologies, and their practical applications in everyday life.
The program’s goal is to develop students’ analytical thinking and technical understanding, helping them grasp the role of space technologies in shaping modern infrastructure and innovations.
We are glad that the program is being implemented in collaboration with UCOM, whose support is crucial for expanding access to quality space technology education in the regions.
The active participation and interest of students once again confirm the growing importance of the STEM field and the need for the continuity of such initiatives.
At CIPR, we continue to create space educational environment where theoretical knowledge is complemented by practical experience, preparing students for future opportunities in engineering and space technologies.
